•What sector & roles do you specialise in?

I specialise in the Engineering & Health and Safety roles 

 

•What do you enjoy/find most rewarding in your role?

The most rewarding thing about my role is helping people find a suitable job that fits their 'ideal' and somewhere they will be happy long term.

 

•How would you describe ‘Recruitment Excellence’?/What does ‘The future in recruitment excellence’ look like to you?

Recruitment excellence to me is communication and honesty. Building relationships that could weather a storm, that is how you ensure an efficient recruitment process.

The future in recruitment excellence is detail and timescale. Finding the right fit for both client and candidate in a short space of time.

 

•How would you describe the ‘ideal candidate’?  What are the most important traits for any candidate?

An ideal candidate is, honest, trustworthy and reliable

 

•In your opinion what are the top 3 things a candidate can do to succeed?

Detail previous achievements, be open to interview techniques and advice, flexibility and reliability.

 

•What is the most important tool in your role & why?

The most important tool in my role is reputation. Reputation goes a long way and attracts a brilliant network

 

•Do you forsee and big changes or challenges in Recruitment?

The challenges in Engineering recruitment is the lack of skilled candidates, there are less people taking degrees and more people retiring.

 

•Do you have any interesting or funny stories during your time in Recruitment?

Everyday is interesting in Engineering Recruitment!

 

•How do you like to spend your free time? Any Hobbies?

I spend my free time with my 2 boys and my horse. 

 

•Favourite cuisine? / Favourite tipple or drink? / Favourite eatery or area for food? / Favourite food or snack?

My drink of choice is a rhubarb and ginger gin with lemonade. I am a foody, the only thing I am not in to is sushi 

 

•Favourite place to holiday? / Favourite time of year?

I will go anywhere with sun and scenic. Summer is my favourite time of the year
