On Saturday, 20th April 2024 Kayleigh organised a charity fundraising night at her local pub, The Gardeners Arms, to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice.
The money raised from the night will be added to the funds we have already been collecting towards our Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge 2024 (Charity Challenge 2024 | Samworth Brothers).
It was a very successful evening with an amazing turnout from the locals.
The evening's entertainment was generously provided foc by some extremely talented singers & performers.
The support from the management and staff at The Gardeners Arms and all the locals was overwhelming, a superb time was had by all.
A huge thank you to Kayleigh Grealey (Brook) from us all at Oval for organising the event and to everyone else involved - a massive £1,150.60 was raised!!
Thank you also, to everyone who kindly donated raffle prizes on the night, a special mention to The Crown Hotel, Bawtry for their generous donation of Gift Vouchers, and to all our supporters on the night.
In the meantime Nicola Grainger, Gemma Harris, Clayton Hill and Alicia Caseldine have all been hard at work, training in all weathers in preparation for the grueling triathlon next month!
