???? Pushing Limits—On the Trails and in Food Industry Recruitment! ????
Last weekend, our very own Lucy Stokes, specialist recruitment consultant at The Oval Partnership, took on a challenge as bold as the candidates she places—Ultra-Trail Snowdonia by UTMB. This is the UK’s biggest trail running event, attracting runners from over 63 countries to the rugged beauty of Eryri (Snowdonia).
On May 17th, Lucy tackled the 55k race—that’s over 20 miles and a staggering 3,300m of elevation gain, including two ascents of Snowdon! For someone who calls herself a “fast hiker” rather than a runner, this was a true test of grit and determination.
But Lucy wasn’t alone in her mission—her son Jack made a last-minute decision to join the Kids Ultra Trail Challenge, and together they raised funds for Alder Hey Hospital & Young Lives Vs Cancer. If you’d like to support their cause, you can donate here: JustGiving - UTS55k Team

"Thanks guys, sadly I didn't recreate Jack's amazing run yesterday. I missed CP2 cutoff by about 10 mins, so had to finish there. Did over 20 miles and twice up Snowdon. Was hoping to get to CP3 but think that was a bit ambitious for today! ???? Learned a lot for next time though!!!
