Our latest Team Update on Wednesday, 14th May, was the perfect blend of business brilliance and team bonding, and we’re excited to share the highlights with you!
We kicked off the day with a focused business update from our Managing Director, Tim Caseldine. The team took a deep dive into the last quarter’s trading, celebrating new client partnerships and exploring innovative business development strategies. Our marketing team shared exciting updates on SEO and outreach, and we discussed how to leverage our networks and database capabilities to the fullest.
To keep our skills sharp and our service top-notch, we followed up with a dedicated training day on Thursday, 15th May, at our Bawtry office, where the team got hands-on with our Eploy database.
Continuous improvement is at the heart of Oval, and these sessions ensure we’re always ahead of the curve for our clients and candidates.
After our business buzz, it was time for some outdoor adventure! We grabbed our paddles and set off canoeing down the picturesque River Idle, right near our Bawtry offices. The journey included a lively pitstop at The King William Inn in Scaftworth—where, in true team spirit, we all shared a good laugh when one of our own took an unexpected dip while exiting the canoe! (Don’t worry, no recruiters were harmed in the making of these memories.)
With spirits high and stories to tell, we headed back to the office to catch up on emails and calls, making sure our clients and candidates remained our top priority. But the fun didn’t stop there…
We wrapped up our action-packed day with a mouth-watering tapas feast and refreshing sangria at El Toro Restaurant in Bawtry. The perfect way to unwind, connect, and toast to our shared successes!
