Last weekend I travelled to Rome with a few friends to take part in my first half marathon. Along with 6000 other people we ran the 13.1 Mile route from Rome to Ostia on the coast. It was honestly one of the best experiences of my life. It was a lot harder than I had gave it credit for in the lead up to it. I will certainly be more prepared before the next one.
I was delighted to have finished it, pushing my body to the limit. I decided that I would run this for a charity close to Oval’s heart.
Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice help children with end-of-life care and provide bereavement support to their families through what is such a challenging period to make what time they have left special. If you could donate anything to this cause I would be very grateful.
