After graduating with a degree in Journalism, I found my way into recruitment and quickly realised it combined two things I enjoy most – understanding businesses and building relationships with people. More than 12 years later, that's still one of the things I love most about the job.
I've spent my career specialising within Food Manufacturing and FMCG, a sector I'm genuinely passionate about. Food production sits at the heart of everyday life, and I have a particular interest in British farming, resilient supply chains and the businesses working to produce food in an ethical and sustainable way.
Today, I specialise in senior Supply Chain, Logistics and Planning appointments across the UK. What fascinates me about Supply Chain is that it's often one of the least visible functions when things are running smoothly, yet one of the most important when they're not. I enjoy helping businesses solve complex hiring challenges and finding talented people who can make a real impact.
My approach is simple: be honest, communicate clearly and focus on long term success rather than short-term fixes. I believe recruitment is about solving problems, not simply filling vacancies, and I pride myself on being someone clients and candidates can trust throughout the process.
Outside of work, life revolves around my five-year-old daughter and our Labrador puppy, Lucy. I'm happiest outdoors, particularly in Snowdonia, which will always feel like home having been born in Wales. When I'm not hiking, you'll usually find me playing guitar, reading an action thriller or watching professional wrestling.
Joining The Oval Partnership was a natural fit. The business has a reputation for building genuine relationships and taking a long-term approach to recruitment, which closely reflects how I like to work. I'm proud to be part of a team that shares those values.
