Join a leading drinks manufacturer in Bedfordshire as a Brewing & Syrup Operator and be part of a dynamic production team delivering exceptional beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage stock control and storage of raw materials and ingredients with precision.

• Maintain impeccable housekeeping and hygiene standards to exceed audit requirements.

• Operate advanced site automation systems including SCADA and quality control platforms like LIMS.

• In the Brewhouse:

  • Handle malt and perform milling activities.

  • Run a sophisticated dual-stream brewhouse.

  • Accurately weigh hops and brewing additions.

  • Transfer wort, monitor fermentation, and manage yeast.

  • Conduct green beer centrifugation and other beer transfers.

  • Carry out Cleaning In Place (CIP) of all brewing equipment.

• In Filtration and Tanker Bay:

  • Operate powder filters and manage loading/unloading of road tankers.

  • Transfer bright beer to packaging lines and CIP filters, mains, and tanks.

• In the Syrup Area:

  • Handle stock control and accurate measurement of syrup ingredients.

  • Oversee syrup production and supply to the canning line.

  • Perform CIP of syrup equipment and can fillers.

Skills and Experience Required:

• A Levels or equivalent qualifications.

• Proven experience in stock control, record keeping, and maintaining hygiene standards.

• Familiarity with SCADA automation and LIMS quality control systems.

• Practical knowledge of brewing or syrup production processes.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Salary: Choose between two competitive pay grades on a 3-shift pattern:

• Grade 2.1: £31,600.73 (base salary plus shift allowance)

• Grade 2.2: £33,087.93 (base salary plus shift allowance)
