Our client is a substantial fresh food company who, due to significant growth have created this new role to work cross functionally with the Sales, Marketing. Operations, Planning, Procurement, NPD teams. The main purpose of the role is to align structures, processes, and accountabilities to effectively partner and challenge senior business leaders in the optimisation of commercial finance performance. Responsible for reporting, analysis, forecasting and Customer rebate control.

  • Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies, including but not exclusive to:
    • Return on Investment including customer contract evaluation
    • Promotional evaluation
    • Price and mix analysis
    • Competitor analysis
  • Challenging current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Assist with annual budget and monthly forecast preparation
  • Work closely with NPD to ensure cost optimisation and accuracy of costs for new and existing business
  • Customer Rebate Control including contract analysis and invoice approval to ensure optimum return for the business and invoicing is in line with contractual agreements.
  • Assist with the month end close to ensure accurate and timely reporting
