Our client are a well established food manufacturer operating across many sites in the UK & Ireland.  They are currently looking for a skilled Commercial/Revenue Planning Coordinator to be based in thier Northeast Lincolnshire office.

Must be on-site 2-3 days per week.

The role includes some retailer visits and offers the flexibility to work from the North Yorkshire office as needed.

 

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Co-ordinate and filter the Commercial Team’s Price Request Forms before they are passed to the Business Performance Team
  • Working with the Brand Team to monitor and update the price and promo brand guiderails for all key activity in the promo calendar
  • Monitor all key UK market price and promo activity across the portfolio, along with key competitors’ products to measure and assess the consumer value position across the year.   
  • Monitor the efficiency of promotional spend, using internal and external data measures to assess the effectiveness of key promotional activity in the market.
  • On a quarterly basis create key recommendations to improve the performance of our brands in the market, reacting to internal and external metrics to adjust our price and promotion proposals ongoing forward.
  • Run the monthly Promotion Review Meeting schedule to provide strong control and communication cross-functionally with the Commercial, Marketing, Category & Business Performance Teams.
  • Use internal performance data, as well as Nielsen EPOS data to support price and promo decision making.  Produce key reports and information across the cross functional team to highlight the key promotion performance metrics across the business.

 

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Sound data & analysis skills
  • Good understanding of the UK retail market an advantage
  • Strong commercial acumen, and a strong grasp of numbers and performance metrics
  • Some commercial financial experience may be an advantage
  • Strong team player, and people influencing skills
  • Logical thinker, a good organiser
