We are recruiting for a Concept Technologist to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, supporting the development of innovative products from initial brief through to customer submission.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, ideally with a bakery-focused degree, looking to build a career within product development and food innovation.
Working closely with Product Development, Packaging, and Technical teams, you will play a hands-on role in turning ideas into viable concepts, gaining exposure across the full NPD process in a collaborative and commercially driven setting.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting Product Developers in translating briefs into product concepts.

Identifying new raw materials and assisting with sourcing in line with company policies.

Working with Packaging teams to ensure packaging is fit for purpose.

Completing development paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Assisting with organoleptic (taste, texture, appearance) assessments throughout development.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track.

Contributing to detailed packaging briefs, including product specs such as dimensions, weight, shelf life, and handling requirements.

Preparing packaging samples for feasibility reviews and customer submissions.

Supporting customer presentations, innovation days, and internal showcases.
