As part of continued expansion, the company is seeking an experienced Customer Engagement Lead to join its UK team.

This role is central to driving customer growth, retention, and advocacy, while ensuring every client receives a partnership experience that exceeds expectations.

This is a rare opportunity to play a leading role in a business entering an exciting new phase of growth and innovation. The role location is flexible, with preference for individuals based in London, the South East, or South West England.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the company’s portfolio and value proposition across key accounts and prospect customers.

  • Develop and deliver commercial business plans aligned with revenue and growth targets.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across foodservice, hospitality, and catering (HORECA) sectors.

  • Serve as the “voice of the customer,” ensuring client feedback influences business and product development.

  • Partner with business development to define proposals for new prospects and new channel opportunities.

  • Deliver regular account reviews, performance reports, and growth recommendations.

  • Train and mentor customer teams to promote brand excellence and service consistency.

  • Lead the development of customer engagement strategies that drive retention and advocacy.

  • Support forecasting, marketing activation, and budget planning alongside the commercial team.

 

Key Account & Business Development Focus

  • Drive sales growth within existing accounts and identify new partnership opportunities.

  • Work closely with the business development team to ensure seamless onboarding of new accounts.

  • Develop joint business plans and implement account-level initiatives.

  • Conduct regular customer audits and engagement sessions to align on shared goals.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, managing relationships at multiple stakeholder levels.

 

Experience & Competencies

  • Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in customer engagement, account management, or business development within foodservice, hospitality, or retail.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-value accounts and deliver revenue growth.

  • Strong understanding of commercial planning, brand building, and customer partnership principles.

  • Excellent influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.

  • A proactive, collaborative, and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
