The role requires being able to work independently, as well as part of a team to ensure issues are resolved in an efficient and effective manner, with limited impact on operations.

This involves the maintenance of machinery, machinery reports as well as fault finding/diagnoses. The role requires working with a large range of fast moving production and packaging machinery.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, TECHNICAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

• Time served electrical engineer with mechanical ability
• City and guilds (minimum)
• Diverse thinking to ensure production goals and engineering integrity are maintained
• ‘Get it right first time’ working
• Question repetitive issues
• Engineer solution to equipment problems
• ‘Do it now’ attitude- do not wait for the next shift
• Able to work on their own initiative and as a part of a team
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Good communication skills and be a good team player
