Our client currently has an excellent opportunity for a skilled Fabricator to join a well-established team producing high-quality components used across specialist manufacturing sectors.

 

Role Summary

The signage fabricator is responsible for the manufacture, assembly, and finishing of a wide range of signage products, including internal and external signs, illuminated displays, 3D lettering, and bespoke installations. The role involves working with materials such as acrylic, aluminum, vinyl, and composites, using fabrication machinery, hand tools, and finishing techniques to deliver high-quality signage to client specifications.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings, specifications, and design files for signage projects.

  • Fabricate signage components using CNC routers, laser cutters, saws, and hand tools.

  • Work with materials including acrylic, aluminum, steel, vinyl, LED lighting, and composites.

  • Assemble and finish signage, ensuring accuracy, quality, and durability.

  • Prepare graphics, apply vinyl, and mount prints to substrates.

  • Fit LED modules and other lighting systems for illuminated signs.

  • Collaborate with designers, production staff, and installers to meet deadlines.

  • Maintain tools and machinery, and ensure the workshop is safe and organized.

  • Conduct quality control checks on finished signage before dispatch.

  • Follow all health and safety requirements, including safe handling of materials and equipment.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in signage fabrication or a related field.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Competency in using fabrication tools and machinery (CNC, saws, drills, routers, welders, etc.).

  • Knowledge of vinyl application, print mounting, and finishing techniques.

  • Experience with LED lighting installation in signage (preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

  • Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

  • Physical fitness to handle lifting and working with large signage pieces.
