The Role

As Head of Foodservice Channel, you will lead the development and execution of the company’s foodservice strategy across the UK. This senior and highly visible position will focus on driving commercial growth, deepening partnerships, and positioning the brand as a leading supplier within the out-of-home market.

Working as part of the senior leadership team, you’ll bring a strong commercial mindset, industry insight, and people leadership skills to shape the future of the company’s foodservice division.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the overall sales strategy for the foodservice channel to maximise growth and profitability.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, including hospitality groups, wholesalers, and distributors.

  • Create detailed customer sales plans and deliver targeted campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Represent the brand at industry events, trade exhibitions, and customer engagements.

  • Identify new business opportunities and lead negotiations for national contracts.

  • Provide clear leadership to the sales team, setting KPIs and fostering a culture of accountability, motivation, and development.

  • Work collaboratively across departments; Operations, Marketing, HR, Finance, Technical, and Product Development, to ensure channel alignment and operational excellence.

  • Champion customer experience and brand integrity, ensuring standards of service and quality are consistently high.

  • Support and nurture a positive, inclusive, and values-led team culture.

 

About You

  • 10+ years’ experience leading and managing sales teams within the UK foodservice or hospitality sector.

  • Proven track record of developing profitable business growth and managing large customer accounts or national contracts.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience of P&L ownership.

  • Excellent people leadership skills, able to inspire, coach, and empower teams.

  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on delivery capability.

  • Confident communicator and natural relationship-builder with senior stakeholders.

  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating at pace in a growing business.
