Our client is a National Brewer who have created an exciting new position to work across the group Commercial, Marketing and Operational teams to build and communicate an effective strategy for the activation of the beer brands throughout all formats of the managed estate, in line with overall branded strategy.

This role will be responsible for the management of the following:

  • Working with brand marketing, Commercial and Operations teams to deliver maximum ranging for the brands throughout all managed formats based on relevant category and consumer insight.
  • Working closely with Senior Operations teams to ensure delivery of agreed range and ongoing compliance in all formats.
  • Working with Brand and Managed marketing teams to agree relevant insight driven calendar of support for the brands across managed formats.
  • Leading the agenda on ‘Beer Quality’ throughout Managed Operations with the support of the wider brand team to ensure the company's brands are always served in perfect condition at all outlets.
  • Being seen as a visible presence for brands in managed channels, providing objective advice to key decision makers while representing the key values and critical role of brands to the group.
  • Maintain and develop close and strong relationships with a breadth and depth of customer teams including operations, marketing, insights, supply chain and purchasing.
  • Responsible for forecasting customer volumes to assist in business planning accuracy
  • Deliver brand distribution and volume targets in line with budget

Professional Experience Requierd

  • Minimum 3 years experience as Senior National Account Manager in On Trade
  • Experience of category management with major FMCG or BWS supplier
  • Experience of building and executing trade marketing activity within the National On Trade

  • Excellent learning agility able to understand beer category dynamics quickly if new to category
  • Confident in the use of Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Proactive individual capable of working independently
  • Personal resilience and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Strong fit with the company values - able to demonstrate examples of these
  • Quick learner and comfortable with ambiguity
