Our client is seeking a talented Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to play a vital role in their fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep Production Moving: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond swiftly to breakdowns, ensuring our machinery and equipment are always in top condition.

• Diagnose & Repair: Use your technical expertise and resources such as manuals and schematics to quickly identify and fix faults.

• Support Operations: Work closely with the production team to resolve issues and minimize downtime, keeping our lines running efficiently.

• Drive Improvements: Suggest and implement smart solutions to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall performance.

• Collaborate: Partner with colleagues in production, quality, and health & safety to deliver the best results.

• Stay Organised: Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

• Champion Safety: Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

Skills/Experience

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong fault-finding skills across both mechanical and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

• Solid understanding of health and safety practices.

Desirable:

• Experience with PLCs and automated systems.

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

• Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm) or Nights (10pm–6am)
