As National Account Manager you will be working closely with the Head of Commercial to design and deliver the Retail sales strategy within our clients international chilled food business.

You will develop and deliver the strategy to build a balanced and successful market portfolio that delivers increased revenue and profit through new market segments and existing customers. Our ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the New Product Development discipline. You will be the key owner of all sector customer relationships and build the knowledge and understanding of the customer and thier needs such that we are considered a valuable partner. Initial account responsibility will be for Ocado, M&S, Amazon and some other accounts.

You will be required to produce insightful, relevant and timely management reports to an appropriate frequency and standard that meet the requirements and enhance the understanding of the business as well as Board and Leadership overseas. Where necessary you will be working with other functions and external partners to deliver high calibre and timely management information, particularly in relation to Sales / Profit performance.

The best candidates will be relationship builders with experience operating as Account Coordinators/ Leaders preferably within a high intensity sales environment (preferably with a strong focus on B2B, Retail, Wholesale and distributor management. First class leadership skills are essential to drive both employee performance and engagement both within a sales team and across the wider organisation.
