Are you an established Senior Process Technologist or a Process Technologist already stepping up when your manager is on leave and ready for your next step?

A well-established chilled food manufacturer is looking for a Process Development Manager to join a high-volume site in Grimsby.

This role is hands-on, factory-facing and delivery-focused, with a clear pathway into people management.

This is not a creative NPD role. It’s about running trials, delivering customer changes, and making sure products land smoothly and safely in factory.

Key responsibilities

• Leading process trials and scale-up from concept through to launch

• Owning customer changes, renovations and factory trials

• Working closely with Operations, Technical and Engineering on site

• Managing critical paths, yields and trial costs

• Supporting manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement

• Mentoring Process Technologists, with line management responsibility within 6 months

• Raw material processing and end-to-end factory exposure

• Strong operational culture with deep product expertise

What we’re looking for

• Experience as a Senior Process Technologist, or a Process Technologist operating at senior level

• Confident leading trials and working on the factory floor

• Exposure to UK retail customers (own-label)

• Strong organisation, communication and project management skills

• Solid understanding of food safety and factory standards

(chilled food experience helpful but not essential- product type experts on site!)
