A leading food and drink manufacturer seeks an experienced Quality Analyst for a hands-on laboratory role ensuring product excellence across production processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological and physico-chemical analyses on raw materials, packaging, and finished products to identify deviations from quality standards.
- Conduct sampling, sensory evaluations, equipment calibration, data entry into laboratory systems, and issue non-conformity reports as needed.
- Support process improvements through additional testing, yeast propagation, and interlaboratory studies while maintaining laboratory cleanliness.?
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' laboratory experience in quality control within the FMCG sector, with strong microbiological expertise essential and canning line experience highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques, LIMS or similar systems, and production processes for raw materials and packaging.
- Candidates must hold full legal right to work in the UK without sponsorship, demonstrate attention to detail, collaboration, and adaptability.?
Working Hours and Benefits
- Operate across a rotating 3-shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) as part of the site's collective agreement.
- Starting salary of £30,000 base plus £6,203.93 shift allowance (total £36,203.93), progressing to £34,000 base plus allowance (total £40,293.03) upon completing multiskilling training and competency assessment.
