They are looking for a Quality Analyst  to join their team in a state-of-the-art beverage laboratory.  The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding premium product standards, driving continuous improvement, and supporting ambitious growth in the FMCG sector.

Role Overview

Deliver precise analytical excellence across the production lifecycle, from raw materials to finished beverages. You'll ensure compliance with rigorous quality benchmarks, perform cutting-edge lab analyses, and contribute to process innovations that elevate our market-leading products. Ideal for seasoned FMCG quality experts ready to make an impact in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct microbiological, physico-chemical, sensory evaluations, equipment calibration/verification, and analyses on raw/auxiliary materials, packaging, and finished products per the control plan, swiftly identifying and addressing deviations from quality standards.

  • Accurately enter results into LIMS or equivalent systems (e.g., Visual Calibre), adhering to validated analytical methods for reliable data integrity.

  • Issue product holds and Non-Conformity Reports for non-compliant results, collaborating with supervisors on corrective actions to minimise risks.

  • Collect and log samples for internal/external labs, including approvals for new raw materials, recipes, process enhancements, and organoleptic reviews by the company panel.

  • Lead yeast propagation at laboratory scale to produce flasks for industrial scale-up, executing all associated analyses with precision.

  • Execute ad-hoc analyses beyond the control plan, participate in interlaboratory studies, and uphold exemplary lab cleanliness, organisation, and equipment maintenance.

 

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in quality control or analytical laboratory roles within the FMCG industry, ideally in beverages or food manufacturing.

  • Strong proficiency in microbiological/physico-chemical analyses, equipment calibration/verification, and laboratory management systems like LIMS.

  • In-depth knowledge of raw materials, packaging, and production processes in beverage/food sectors.

  • Key behaviours: Meticulous attention to detail, collaborative teamwork, and high adaptability in a shifting production environment.

  • Core competencies: Advanced analytical skills, data management, quality assurance, sampling techniques, sensory evaluation, and regulatory compliance?
