Excellent opportunity to join a leading chilled manufacturer, who are seeking to appoint a Senior Specification Technologist.

The ideal candidate would be co-managing the specification team as well as ensuring all specifications and artwork are compliant with relevant legislation and retailer codes. As well as gaining line management experience supporting the individual and putting in place growth and development plans.

Also being the main contact for internal and external queries regarding specifications and artwork, managing critical projects in a timely manner meeting strict deadlines.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

• Team Management:
  • Oversee and support the specifications team, prioritizing workload and managing deadlines.
• Internal & External Liaison:
  • Represent the team in meetings and be a primary contact for specification and artwork queries.
• Project Management:
  • Formulate and adhere to project critical paths, propose efficient working methods.
• Product Specifications:
  • Write and maintain product specifications for various customers, ensuring compliance with all legal and customer requirements.
• Artwork Management:
  • Co-manage the artwork process to ensure packaging information is accurate and compliant.

The ideal candidate would have excellent understanding of food labelling laws, as well as experience in writing specifications and using retailer portals. Working closely with internal & external stakeholders.
