Role Overview

Focusing on a specific customer portfolio, you'll improve customer data management, deliver analytical insights, and become a trusted partner for internal stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal role in contributing to sales and profit targets for nominated accounts, while supporting wider commercial requests as needed.

  • Analyse customer data and channel market trends (including retailer EPOS reports) to guide decision-making.

  • Provide promotional analysis and planning, manage price changes, promotional notifications, and support with impactful presentations.

  • Participate in customer meetings, manage key administrative tasks, and take ownership of assigned commercial projects.

  • Help develop product costings, margin analysis, and support execution of customer-focused commercial initiatives.

  • Input and recommend accurate volume forecasts, ensuring information is delivered timely to all partners.

  • Embrace advanced commercial systems and processes (Microsoft O365, recipe management tools, etc.) to streamline workflow.

 

 

Candidate Profile

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience in a commercial or analytical discipline.

  • Sound commercial acumen, logical decision-making ability, and sharp planning and time management skills.

  • Analytical mindset, comfortable interrogating data and transforming it into actionable insight.

  • Excellent team player and relationship builder, with a collaborative approach and willingness to step up with autonomy when needed.

  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to customers and events across the UK as required.

  • Financial savvy, able to interpret and communicate commercial performance metrics.

  • Strong influencing and selling skills, rooted in questioning, listening, and understanding customer priorities.

  • Proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented, with an innate curiosity for how commercial drivers shape business success.
