Our Client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Financial Controller to join their innovative drinks business.

 

This role is pivotal in driving financial performance, strategic decision-making, and business growth.  It offers an exciting opportunity to shape the financial future of a dynamic drinks business.

 

The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on financial expertise to drive business performance and growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Financial Leadership and Strategy

  • Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Provide critical financial insights to senior management

 

Revenue Management and Pricing Strategy

  • Establish and monitor revenue KPIs across all sales channels
  • Develop pricing strategies and promotion governance
  • Optimize value chains and trade terms

 

P&L and Performance Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive P&L analysis to identify value creation opportunities
  • Lead cost analysis and margin flow assessments
  • Manage sales forecasts and planning processes

 

Business Insights and Reporting

  • Produce actionable weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Lead budgeting and latest estimates processes
  • Report key performance indicators to senior leadership

 

Process Improvement and Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Drive automation and efficiency across business processes
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
  • Participate in key customer tenders and negotiations

 

Financial Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure adherence to UK GAAP standards and financial regulations
  • Coordinate with external auditors and legal advisors
  • Manage customer debt and cash flow

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree (ideally in Finance, Accounting, or related field)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Financial Controlling or Revenue Management, preferably in FMCG/beverage industry
  • At least 2 years experience in the UK market
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in BI tools
  • Expert in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of industry-specific data analytics tools (Nielsen, CGA, Kantar, Euromonitor)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Results-oriented with a strategic mindset
