Our client is seeking a dynamic Continuous Improvement Manager to join their food manufacturing operation and partner with leaders to drive manufacturing excellence and operational performance.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver continuous improvement projects, coaching teams, and embedding a culture of innovation and efficiency within a values-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the identification, planning, and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational and business objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Technical, Hygiene, and Engineering to ensure food safety and health & safety standards are met.

Use advanced problem-solving and data analysis techniques to uncover improvement opportunities focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost.

Coach and develop colleagues and leaders in continuous improvement tools, methodologies, and behaviours to embed sustainable change.

Drive the adoption of lean manufacturing principles, manage improvement project teams, and promote best practice sharing across the operation.

Foster a positive, inclusive culture that prioritises colleague wellbeing while delivering continuous performance improvements.

Manage people effectively to build high-performing teams, support personal development, and maintain strong communication and collaboration.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience in a food manufacturing environment with a good understanding of GMP, food safety, and health & safety regulations.

Strong expertise with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or a continuous improvement qualification such as a Black Belt or Level 5 Improvement Specialist.

Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and influence teams at all levels.

Advanced data analysis skills to drive fact-based decision-making and root cause analysis.

A collaborative approach and commitment to building respectful, values-led working relationships across functions.

Strong project management capabilities with a track record of delivering complex multi-functional projects successfully.

Functional skills in Microsoft Office, along with experience in performance management and succession planning.
