Are you an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) professional with a passion for driving continuous improvement and leading a team to success?

 

We've partnered with a specialist family run food business who are experiencing phenomenal growth to find a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Lead to join their team and champion their commitment to quality and safety.

 

A new headcount to the team, the Quality Assurance (QA) Lead will report to the Technical Manager and oversee and lead a team of QAs working closely with production and NPD teams to uphold the highest standards across the business.

 

What You'll Do:

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

· Champion a quality-first mindset across the entire organisation.

· Collaborate with other departments to investigate and resolve quality issues, implementing effective preventative measures.

· Own quality control procedures, ensuring they align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

· Manage audits and inspections, taking ownership of corrective actions and improvements.

· Oversee all testing protocols, including microbiological and chemical schedules, and ensure complete traceability.

· Investigate and resolve customer complaints with a professional and timely approach.

· Assess and approve raw materials and equipment to guarantee they meet our stringent quality standards.

 

What We're Looking For:

· Proven people leadership experience in a QA environment (food manufacturing).

· A self-motivated individual with a strong continuous improvement mindset.

· Advanced knowledge of Food Safety and risk assessment.

· A collaborative leader with excellent communication skills.

This is a Monday – Friday site-based role.
