Role Overview

As Senior Brand Manager, you will act as brand guardian and strategic lead for prominent UK brands, driving innovation and shaping communications in a market where quality and consumer satisfaction are paramount.

Leading cross-functional teams and key agency partners, you will turn brand vision into tangible results for both new and established products.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver annual brand plans that ensure successful product launches, always aligned with customer strategies.

  • Drive both everyday portfolio developments and bold new product initiatives alongside NPD, category, and supplier teams.

  • Lead agency relationships, fostering effective collaboration and integrated, multi-channel campaigns.

  • Manage the brand P&L, tracking against budget and seeking new ways to optimise profit through innovation and project management, including CAPEX.

  • Guide the Trade & Shopper Manager and Marketing Executive in bringing campaigns and creative assets to life—across packaging, digital, eCommerce, and experiential channels.

  • Own the creation and stewardship of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in tone, message, and execution.

  • Analyse performance data, including sales, financials, marketing, and consumer insights, to inform future growth.

  • Safeguard brand reputation and trade mark integrity, working closely with legal and internal stakeholders.

 

 

Key Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Strategists with a flair for creative leadership and influencing cross-functional teams.

  • Proven experience managing established brands, budgets, and agencies in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.

  • Commercially savvy professionals passionate about putting the customer at the centre of every decision.

  • Strong project managers skilled at balancing marketing vision, financial rigor, and operational excellence.

  • Skilled communicators adept at leading, mentoring, and inspiring teams.

  • Degree-qualified, ideally in business or marketing.
